Hap is a 1 input 10 output dual Bernoulli gate and AND gate logic module.
Features:-
Trigger in – Connect an external trigger or gate (outputs are high for the duration of the input).
CV inputs A and B – Use a CV signal to control the Probability (1|2) or trigger skip.
Bernoulli gates – Both A and B are identical and both feature 2 outputs. The probability of an output being high is set using the control labelled ‘1|2’. The likelihood of it ignoring the input trigger is set using ‘SKIP’. This gives you four random outputs (2×2) that are determined by the two controls.
5 x AND gates – HAP has 5 AND gates that are set high depending on the 4 Bernoulli outputs as follows:-
A1 T – Mirrors Bernoulli output A1 but ignores SKIP.
A1 B1 – Is high when both A1 and B1 are highbut ignores SKIP.
A1 B2 – is high when both A1 and B2 are high but ignores SKIP.
T B1 – Mirrors Bernoulli output B1 but ignores SKIP.
A2 B2 – is high when both A2 and B2 are high but ignores SKIP.
R – Is a random output that is high 50% of the time and low 50% of the time and is completely independent of the other outputs.
